About Me

Welcome!

My name is Ryan Maron and I’m a Physical Therapist, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Writer from Vancouver, BC. I believe that movement can help us become the best version of ourselves – by developing our bodies, we fortify all aspects of our lives.

I’ve had the chance to learn from some of the top clinicians and coaches in our profession. These relationships have reinforced the importance of developing a rigorous model of care through critical thinking, self-reliance, and creativity. I’m a firm believer in using a principle-driven approach to govern our clinical decisions.

From this blog, you can expect a deep dive into all things rehabilitation and sport performance. I believe that our pursuit of knowledge should include a full-spectrum of ideas in order to best approximate the truth. Our best chance of having a holistic view is to detach ourselves from any one paradigm.

If you’re a clinician, strength coach, sport coach, or athlete, this website is for you. Join me as I explore the why behind what we do.
